Worked in Brooks at the substation from January till July. Stayed at the plains for the duration. Was happy. Room was always clean, bed was comfy, tv was a good size and the amenities I need we’re all within 3 blocks or so. If I have to work in Brooks again that is where I will stay.

Stayed 1 night on a business trip. Found the front desk staff to be friendly and helpful. Liked having a fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Wifi worked well. Restaurants both adjacent and across the street, along with a grocery store – everything I needed right there.

Stayed at the Plains Motel on a business trip for about 14 nights. This motel probably had the most friendly staff I’ve met and were extremely helpful when I needed photocopies and work printed off every other day. The rates were very low even for a room with a kitchenette which was nice.
